Return & Shipping Policy

Return Policy

Skrocki Design will issues refunds or exchanges on jewelry within 10 days after our shipping date. Please contact us immediately if you want to make a return or exchange on jewelry. All items returned or exchanged must be in the same condition as sold in. No damaged, scratches, broken or otherwise non-manufacturing defects will be accepted back. We don’t exist to create flawless items.
Our pieces are created in a small studio by two people who want to bring beauty and enjoyment into the lives of those who choose to own them. Each item is carefully created and inspected before shipping. Indentations, scratches or scuffs on the back of the items may exist and is a result of the artistic process in which they were created.

Please contact me first by email before shipping back any items. Items must be insured for returns. Anything sent back to us without insurance is entirely at the risk of the shipper. Shipping and handling charges paid on the original purchase are non refundable. Shipping for the return including any insurance must be paid by the buyer. All return items must have a tracking number. Please take into consideration before purchasing that every sale made directly impacts our small family. But purchasing your item you are directly supporting the handmade and artistic revival. IF you have any questions at all please contact us before purchasing and we clarify any concerns or please ask us for extra photos or a video of the item if you need to see more than what is posted.

No refunds or exchanges on any leather products, art work (including wire wrapped jewelry), custom items or on sale items. To ensure you are happy with your purchase please ask us for extra photos or a video of the item if you need to see more than what is posted.

Anything that has been damaged during shipping is not covered unless the upgraded insurance and shipping option is added. If the upgraded insurance and shipping option is added all claims need to be made through the shipping company.

We don’t exist to create flawless items.

All items are individually handmade therefore there are differences between even the earrings. Some items do not match the picture exactly but are still the same size, colour, image etc and they will be substituted for the item in the picture.

The Leather pictured in photographs is only an example of the type of leather you will receive in colour and variations. Also because all computers, tablets, tvs and phone screens are different the colour may be slightly different than the colour of the leather in the photographs.

Shipping
Orders are fulfilled as they are placed, usually within 2-10 business days (up to 10 days if the item has to be made not counting weekends or legal holidays). Please make sure your address is correct, as I will ship your order to the address you provide. Most orders shipped to the states take between 3-15 days to arrive.

*** During peak times of the year (Christmas, Valentines Day, Mother and Father's Day, etc.) please expect to add an additional few days for processing.  If you need your purchase sooner, please write to us and we will try to accommodate you.  If you need expedited shipping please request via email in advance. For an extra fee we can upgrade the shipping further.
In addition to our website, we process orders from Etsy, do direct sales at shows and sell wholesale. Please keep this in mind when making a purchase. If we are sold out of a listed item, we will remake it for you, but it will add onto the time required to process and ship the item out. We do not want to disappoint you by not having your item sent out soon enough so if there are any concerns, regarding the shipping time frame, for your piece of mind please email us. Thank you in advance for your understanding. 
We do not process orders while we are running our booth at shows: we will, however, resume processing directly after each show. Please review our posted show schedules for possible processing delays: if you have any questions please email us.
For orders to the United States, the parcel may need a customs label and occasionally require duties or customs to be paid. These are entirely your cost and are not covered by us under any circumstance. Also, we cannot control what Customs does with your parcel once it reaches their hands. If they choose to inspect randomly, or hold the parcel for any reason, this also is something we cannot control. Please understand this very important and relevant information. Occasionally we have had parcels held for reasons unknown to use for up to 3 weeks. There is a tool on Canada Post’s website to estimate duty if the customs agent does a random inspection.
Lost or stolen items
Canada Post and USPS failures are not the fault of Paragon of Design by Skrocki or a reflection of our level of dedication to you. If your shipment is sent without insurance:
We are not responsible for lost, stolen or undelivered packages. We highly suggest that you add on the shipping upgrade for piece of mind, tracking number and insurance.
All lost, stolen or undelivered packages without insurance are the responsibility of the buyer.
Again- Occasionally customs holds parcels for an undetermined period of time, even with the shipping upgrades.
