This dragon is our own design based on our studies of heraldic dragons. Since we are both personally interested in the lore and mythology of dragons...and because dragons may just be the number one requested image at our booth we wanted to make a special dragon together. The other inspiration behind this dragon was drawn from our multiple trips to Europe. Our intension with this design was to create a classy dragon that could be worn by any one who admires dragons. These earrings are made of pure copper and the unusual shape gives them an extra edginess. The glossy black inlay on the copper creates a very classy combination. You can wear these with a semi-casual attire or with a casual attire.

Inspired by Eastern European filigree and ornamentation. This piece was designed to have a stained glass like appearance. The two tones of blue on the pure copper shield contrast beautifully. A cult classic for us the Templar shield pendant is even more striking in person! We coated this, almost completely, in our custom inlay. The depth of the ruby red, gloss of the black, and sheen of the white light up magnificently in the sunlight. A cult classic for us the Templar shield pendant is even more striking in person! We coated this, almost completely, in our custom inlay. The depth of the ruby red, gloss of the black, and sheen of the white light up magnificently in the sunlight. The piece was inspired by our numerous encounters with Templar imagery and historic sites. This is a versatile piece which can be worn to the office for a semi-causual look, for a night out with jeans and a t-shirt, or to your favourite rock show...or classical...or whatever it is you like!

Perhaps its the historical qualities or rich tones of the copper. Maybe its the vibrant hand painted colours. Or possibly the natural beauty of the tree that draws you in. We know the Tree of Life will fascinate you as much as it does us...oh and they go with pretty much everything! One of our best sellers its difficult to keep up with the demand. We thought we should mention...these are the only green ones in stock currently!
These tree of life earrings are one of our smallest that we make measuring at 2.1 x 1.6 cm or .83 x .63 inches.
Each metal component, made in our Alberta, Canada, studio, is the product of a rigorous 35-45 step process (around 35 per earring or pendant and between 40 and 45 per ring and cuff link). Starting with plain sheets of metal we design and create our components one at a time. Some of the key steps include preparing the metal and design work, etching the imagery and cutting custom shapes. Shaping is done with a manual hydraulic press (2000 lbs plus per a component) to create stronger, more durable and professionally shaped components. Each piece is finished with a meticulous hand applied coloring process wherein each color is individually applied and often on different days to allow for the lengthy drying process (up to 72 hours). The majority of the other steps revolve around an absurd amount of sanding and cleaning, as well as, adding the finishing touches such as ear hooks, jump rings, soldering etc. Because of this no two items are identical and they have variations between each item.
These copper earrings have been made with 99.99% pure copper with surgical steel ear hooks and rubber ear nubs.
