5 x 7 inch - Not all those who wander are lost - Leather Journal
Sometimes nothing ignites creativity quite like a dash of character and for this series of journals that’s exactly what we had in mind. Each piece of leather was chosen based on its unique qualities with no two being the same, ever! Once the artwork was etched onto the journals we hand dyed them with a different dye than the rest of our work and with a different technique. The result was an antiqued finish show casing the character of the leather and often giving them a woodgrain look. The inside of these journals are generally left to showcase the raw suede and undyed. We know you will be using these a lot as the convenient sizing just begs to be taken along virtually anywhere so we made them with a standard, easy to refill binding.
These books are quite thick and have about 120 or 240 pages double sided

If you are interested in a different provincial / National crest or one from outside of Canada please contact us regarding pricing and timelines.

The brass shield is the product of a rigorous 35-45 step process. Starting with plain sheets of metal we design and create our components one at a time. Some of the key steps include preparing the metal and design work, etching the imagery and cutting custom shapes. Each piece is finished with a meticulous hand applied coloring process wherein each color is individually applied and often on different days to allow for the lengthy drying process (up to 72 hours). The majority of the other steps revolve around an absurd amount of sanding and cleaning, as well as, adding the finishing touches such as ear hooks, jump rings, soldering etc. Because of this no two items are identical and they have variations between each item.

* Note: all colors will pick up the natural highlights and lowlights found in the leather. While these variations add a beautiful texture and character to each piece it does not give a solid color like industrially dyed, heavily chemical dyed, leathers. Because it is not industrially dyed the leather is not softened with harsh chemicals but has to slowly break in to soften with time and use. As you use your new bag, it will take on the characteristics of the story you are creating together. Also, each piece of leather, like wood, is different and has its own characteristics including ripples, creases, high and low areas as this is a natural product. We do not consider these flaws but the unique characteristics of each piece of leather.
The dyes used are an environmentally friendly water-based dye which leaves a rich hand-finished touch on each bag bringing out the unique highlights, grains, and character of each piece of leather. We use a variety of different hand-applied, finishes to both protect and emphasize the leathers natural beauty. The wax on the outside casing is Carnauba wax or palm wax and is non-toxic food-grade wax. This wax can occasionally be seen in the carvings on our leatherwork and eventually will wear away.

This dragon is our own design based on our studies of heraldic dragons. Since we are both personally interested in the lore and mythology of dragons...and because dragons may just be the number one requested image at our booth we wanted to make a special dragon together. The other inspiration behind this dragon was drawn from our multiple trips to Europe. Our intension with this design was to create a classy dragon that could be worn by any one who admires dragons. These earrings are made of pure copper and the unusual shape gives them an extra edginess. The glossy black inlay on the copper creates a very classy combination. You can wear these with a semi-casual attire or with a casual attire.
Please feel free to check out my blog about our dragon inspirations: http://www.paragonofdesignbyskrocki.com/blog

Inspired by Egypt's grandiose ancient history this piece is as bold as it is enchanting. No matter how you wear it this scarab is eye-catching! We placed a high emphasis on the unconventional, but comfortable, shaping and the striking colours!
This mask is finished on the inside can be worn or displayed on your wall or mask stand as artwork.
This mask was cut, carefully engraved, hand sculpted, coated with a acrylic coat and assembled in our studio.
All of our masks are carefully done on the back with black eco friendly dye and sealed.
The size of this mask is 28 x 23.5 cm or 11 x 9 3/8 inches.
One of our questions we always get at the booth is: what can you do with a mask? Well, to those that are collectors of historical (tribal masks, warrior masks, theatric masks) and artists made masks (from Venice, Cirque Du Soleil, local artists etc) we know that the first thing that comes to mind is to display them as 3d pieces of art! Other uses include performers (actors & actresses, street performers, dancers, stilt walkers etc), photo-shoots, costumes (comic cons, cos play, Halloween, masquerades etc) and festivals (burning man, Shambhala, Mardi Gras etc).

The incense hangs lightly in the air around you. A single windows light breaks the darkness. As you turn the corner you come face to face with it...an artifact of unknown age or origin. All else fades as you fixate upon it. From the shadows risen. The gold's enchantment has only just begun. The blackened visage seems to be watching knowingly as you proceed. Your journey was long and arduous...but this is the payoff. Your imagination spins out scenarios and images of grandeur...a masked ball where your mystique is the talk of the party. A display of such power none whom you reveal it to came believe what they have seen. This is the experience we have strove to accomplish with this beautiful mask. Created to resemble the halo from a byzantine icon you may well expect to find this mask nestled amid the shrines of a cave monastery. Its two layers were carefully hand carved, hand sculpted and hand painted.
The hand painted gold part of the mask is done with a special blend of Liquitex acrylic paint. This is a work of art that can be worn or displayed as an art piece on your wall or mask stand.
Our masks are very comfortable to wear as they are bought by actors, models for photo shoots, performers, masquerades, burning man and other festivals.
the height of this mask is 13 inches x 15.75 inches.

Cherry Blossom Earrings in with Iridescent Blue and Turquoise Flowers.
The bottom wings are painted with an iridescent blue that shimmers and changes color with movement.
Metal: brass
Hooks are hypoallergenic and come with ear nubs.
Each metal component, made in our Alberta, Canada, studio, is the product of a rigorous 35-45 step process (around 35 per earring or pendant and between 40 and 45 per ring and cuff link). Starting with plain sheets of metal we design and create our components one at a time. Some of the key steps include preparing the metal and design work, etching the imagery and cutting custom shapes. Shaping is done with a manual hydraulic press (2000 lbs plus per a component) to create stronger, more durable and professionally shaped components.

Inspired by Eastern European filigree and ornamentation. This piece was designed to have a stained glass like appearance. The two tones of blue on the pure copper shield contrast beautifully. This piece is very striking in the direct light as the colours come alive when the sun shines upon them...similar to the way stained glass glows as the sun passes through it!

A cult classic for us the Templar shield pendant is even more striking in person! We coated this, almost completely, in our custom inlay. The depth of the ruby red, gloss of the black, and sheen of the white light up magnificently in the sunlight. The piece was inspired by our numerous encounters with Templar imagery and historic sites. This is a versatile piece which can be worn to the office for a semi-causual look, for a night out with jeans and a t-shirt, or to your favourite rock show...or classical...or whatever it is you like! Tanner (my husband) has been wearing his for almost every occasion for years!
