Each metal component, made in our Alberta, Canada, studio, is the product of a rigorous 35-45 step process (around 35 per earring or pendant and between 40 and 45 per ring and cuff link). Starting with plain sheets of metal we design and create our components one at a time. Some of the key steps include preparing the metal and design work, etching the imagery and cutting custom shapes. Shaping is done with a manual hydraulic press (2000 lbs plus per a component) to create stronger, more durable and professionally shaped components. Each piece is finished with a meticulous hand applied coloring process wherein each color is individually applied and often on different days to allow for the lengthy drying process (up to 72 hours). The majority of the other steps revolve around an absurd amount of sanding and cleaning, as well as, adding the finishing touches such as ear hooks, jump rings, soldering etc. Because of this no two items are identical and they have variations between each item.

Inspired by Eastern European filigree and ornamentation. This piece was designed to have a stained glass like appearance. The two tones of blue on the pure copper shield contrast beautifully. This piece is very striking in the direct light as the colours come alive when the sun shines upon them...similar to the way stained glass glows as the sun passes through it!

A cult classic for us the Templar shield pendant is even more striking in person! We coated this, almost completely, in our custom inlay. The depth of the ruby red, gloss of the black, and sheen of the white light up magnificently in the sunlight. The piece was inspired by our numerous encounters with Templar imagery and historic sites. This is a versatile piece which can be worn to the office for a semi-causual look, for a night out with jeans and a t-shirt, or to your favourite rock show...or classical...or whatever it is you like! Tanner (my husband) has been wearing his for almost every occasion for years!

One of a kind wearable art and signed by the artist.
Almost completely hand created, with custom metal and leather work this mid-sized handbag took over 230 hours to complete.
Metal work featuring the blue sky is curved to make it look almost like a globe emerging from the centre of the bag. There is also a custom metal and leather key fob attached to the bag.
The bag is completely hand dyed, with 5 coats of water based dyed which was done over a series of 2 weeks, hand oiled over a period of 11 days to slowly soften the leather and then hand sealed with speciality wax.
This bag includes an interior pocket, zipper on top and comes with an adjustable strap.
We work mainly with vegetable tanned leather, which is also a by-product of the food industry, to create each of our pieces (books, masks, armour, corsets etc). Each piece made from vegetable tanned leather is meticulously hand carved, hand dyed, and hand finished. Some of these pieces are also hand painted with special leather paints and overlays. This ethically sourced tooling hide softens in over time for a beautiful old-world finish. The dyes used are an environmentally friendly water based dye which leaves a rich hand-finished touch on each piece bringing out the unique highlights, grains, and character of each piece of leather (and not considered as flaws). We use a variety of different, hand applied, finishes to both protect and emphasize the leathers natural beauty. Finishes may include, but are not limited to, any or all of the following depending on the piece: high quality oils, waxes, gums, and protective coats. Each component is hand buffed once the finishes have set to give it a resilient sheen.
Product Care: Please keep out of direct sunlight for extended periods of time, leather will slightly soften with use. Although finishing wax protects the leather please keep tote away from water, oils and perfumes. Item comes with care card.

Carvings of the Green Man were a recurring theme in our photographs from Scotland. Here is our take on the folkloric Green Man with gold and green oak leaves made from leather.
This mask is finished on the inside can be worn or displayed on your wall or mask stand as artwork.
This mask was cut, carefully engraved, hand sculpted with all the individual leaves carved and sculpted, coated with a acrylic coat and assembled in our studio.
All of our masks are carefully done on the back with black eco friendly dye and sealed.
The size of this mask is 27 x 35 cm or 11 x 14 inches.
One of our questions we always get at the booth is: what can you do with a mask? Well, to those that are collectors of historical (tribal masks, warrior masks, theatric masks) and artists made masks (from Venice, Cirque Du Soleil, local artists etc) we know that the first thing that comes to mind is to display them as 3d pieces of art! Other uses include performers (actors & actresses, street performers, dancers, stilt walkers etc), photo-shoots, costumes (comic cons, cos play, Halloween, masquerades etc) and festivals (burning man, Shambhala, Mardi Gras etc).

Hummingbird Earrings With Blue in Copper
Hooks are hypoallergenic and come with ear nubs.
