The largest of our skull cross body bags measuring at 12 x 9 x 4 inches.
We work mainly with vegetable tanned leather, which is also a by-product of the food industry, to create each of our pieces (books, masks, armour, corsets etc). Each piece made from vegetable tanned leather is meticulously hand carved, hand dyed, and hand finished. Some of these pieces are also hand painted with special leather paints and overlays. This ethically sourced tooling hide softens in over time for a beautiful old-world finish. The dyes used are an environmentally friendly water based dye which leaves a rich hand-finished touch on each piece bringing out the unique highlights, grains, and character of each piece of leather (and not considered as flaws). We use a variety of different, hand applied, finishes to both protect and emphasize the leathers natural beauty. Finishes may include, but are not limited to, any or all of the following depending on the piece: high quality oils, waxes, gums, and protective coats. Each component is hand buffed once the finishes have set to give it a resilient sheen.

Small Butterflies in Blue and Light Iridescent Blue
Hooks are hypoallergenic and come with ear nubs.
Each metal component, made in our Alberta, Canada, studio, is the product of a rigorous 35-45 step process (around 35 per earring or pendant and between 40 and 45 per ring and cuff link). Starting with plain sheets of metal we design and create our components one at a time. Some of the key steps include preparing the metal and design work, etching the imagery and cutting custom shapes. Shaping is done with a manual hydraulic press (2000 lbs plus per a component) to create stronger, more durable and professionally shaped components. Each piece is finished with a meticulous hand applied coloring process wherein each color is individually applied and often on different days to allow for the lengthy drying process (up to 72 hours). The majority of the other steps revolve around an absurd amount of sanding and cleaning, as well as, adding the finishing touches such as ear hooks, jump rings, soldering etc. Because of this no two items are identical and they have variations between each item.

This is a high-quality art print of my original watercolour painting, Waiting in the Field.
Snowy owls often blend seamlessly into winter fields, their white feathers camouflaged against the snow. But if you look closely, you’ll see them—patiently watching, silent and still.
I love going out in winter to search for these incredible birds. This particular owl turned its head all the way around to meet my gaze straight on—a mesmerizing moment that inspired this painting.
All prints come with a 0.5" border for easy framing:

Easily the most requested knot work by our fans. Boasting a rich history and various interpretations. The Triquetra or Trinity Knot is as versatile a design as the earrings we beautified with it. Inspired by a face to face encounter with the Book of Kells itself. An adventurous trek through Ireland, the highlands and the former Scandinavia. As well as a life long interest in the varied history of the Celts.
Designed to have just the right amount of class and colour for your daily enjoyment. We know you will love the way the brass and black accent your outfits. Add this classic Celtic design to your collection as a go to piece. This is our only pair currently!
The size of each copper earring is approximately 2.2 cm or .86 inches.
The brass is made from pure copper and zinc and has had a patina added to each component to give it an antiqued appearance. The ear hooks are surgical steel and come with rubber ear nubs.
Each item comes with a care card, authentication card, gift box and item card. The last picture shows what the packaging looks like complete with our in studio made product card.

Viking Scar Plaque Dragon Earrings in Brass with Blue

This is a high-quality art print of my original watercolour painting, A Pelican at Big Lake.
Inspired by the majestic American White Pelicans that visit our local lake, this piece captures their beauty and grandeur. What amazes me most is the striking colour of their eyes—I was lucky enough to get close with my zoom lens to see their brilliance up close, which inspired me to paint this piece.
These large, graceful birds only stay for a short time each year, and we always make a point to visit the lake to watch them. Their massive wingspans and effortless gliding across the water never fail to amaze me.
Most prints come with a border for easy framing:

• Size: 9x6 inches
• Leather: Vegetable Tanned - hand dyed
• Paper: Blank Acid free Paper (21lb)
• Page Count: 6 signatures - 360 pages - double sided.
• Binding: Classic Medieval: can be re-bound when full
How we make our pieces:
Each book in this series is meticulously hand carved or etched, hand dyed, hand finished and hand bound. Each image carved onto these books is an original created from our inspirations, which include: fantasy, travelling to ancient ruins, history and mythology. Some of these books are also hand painted with special leather paints and overlays. The leather used is an ethically sourced tooling hide that softens in over time. All of the leather used for these books is vegetable tanned and is a byproduct of the food industry. The acid free wheat straw pages are great for: writing, drawing, sketching, pen, pencil, etc. The classic bind used on these books gives an elegant old-world finish and allows the user or local book-binding clubs to easily rebind the book with any type of paper. The dyes used are an environmentally friendly water based dye which leaves a rich hand-finished touch on each book bringing out the unique highlights, grains, and character of each piece of leather*. We use a variety of different, hand applied, finishes to both protect and emphasize the leathers natural beauty. Finishes may include, but are not limited to, any or all of the following depending on the piece: high quality oils, waxes, gums, and protective coats. Each book is hand buffed once the finishes have set to give it a resilient sheen.
* Note: The distressed, vintage style, leather is never the same twice. The antiquing process is done by hand and will have different variations in the antiqued pattern while maintaining the same consistent high quality. Every book has it's own unique characteristics making each an individual experience. These variations add a beautiful texture and character to each piece. Also each piece of leather, like wood, is different and has its own characteristics. These are not considered flaws and this type of process is for people who live rustic, individual journals. Only one antiqued color is available at this time. Some of the antiquing dye may be on the inside suede of the journal, we feel this adds to the rustic nature of this journal.
