Hummingbird Earrings With Blue in Copper
Hooks are hypoallergenic and come with ear nubs.
Each metal component, made in our Alberta, Canada, studio, is the product of a rigorous 35-45 step process (around 35 per earring or pendant and between 40 and 45 per ring and cuff link). Starting with plain sheets of metal we design and create our components one at a time. Some of the key steps include preparing the metal and design work, etching the imagery and cutting custom shapes. Shaping is done with a manual hydraulic press (2000 lbs plus per a component) to create stronger, more durable and professionally shaped components. Each piece is finished with a meticulous hand applied coloring process wherein each color is individually applied and often on different days to allow for the lengthy drying process (up to 72 hours). The majority of the other steps revolve around an absurd amount of sanding and cleaning, as well as, adding the finishing touches such as ear hooks, jump rings, soldering etc. Because of this no two items are identical and they have variations between each item.

How we make our pieces: Each item in this series is etched with one of our illustrations, hand dyed and hand finished. The leather used is an ethically sourced tooling hide that softens in over time. All of the leather used for these items are vegetable tanned and is a byproduct of the food industry. We use a variety of different, hand applied, finishes to both protect and emphasize the leathers natural beauty. Finishes may include, but are not limited to, any or all of the following depending on the piece: high quality oils, waxes, gums, and protective coats. Each item is hand buffed once the finishes have set to give it a resilient sheen. * Note: all colours will pick up the natural highlights and lowlights found in the leather. While these variations add a beautiful texture and character to each piece it does not give a solid colour like industrially dyed, heavily chemical dyed, leathers. Also each piece of leather, like wood, is different and has its own characteristics. These are not considered flaws.

How we make our pieces:
Each book in this series is etched with our own hand drawn artwork. Made from supple, vegetable tanned leather the books in this series come in either large or small sizes. This leather is ethically sourced as a byproduct of the food industry. The acid free wheat straw pages are great for: writing, drawing, sketching, pen, pencil, etc. The classic bind used on these books gives an elegant old-world finish and allows the user or local book-binding clubs to easily rebind the book with any type of paper.
* Note: The distressed, vintage style, leather is never the same twice. The antiquing process is done by hand and will have different variations in the antiqued pattern while maintaining the same consistent high quality. Every book has it's own unique characteristics making each an individual experience. These variations add a beautiful texture and character to each piece. Also each piece of leather, like wood, is different and has its own characteristics. These are not considered flaws and this type of process is for people who live rustic, individual journals. Only one antiqued color is available at this time. Some of the antiquing dye may be on the inside suede of the journal, we feel this adds to the rustic nature of this journal.

The majority of the other steps revolve around an incredible amount of sanding and cleaning, as well as, adding the finishing touches such as ear hooks, jump rings, soldering etc. Because of this no two items are identical and they have variations between each item.

Inspired by Egypt's grandiose ancient history this piece is as bold as it is enchanting. No matter how you wear it this scarab is eye-catching! We placed a high emphasis on the unconventional, but comfortable, shaping and the striking colours!
This mask is finished on the inside can be worn or displayed on your wall or mask stand as artwork.
This mask was cut, carefully engraved, hand sculpted, coated with a acrylic coat and assembled in our studio.
All of our masks are carefully done on the back with black eco friendly dye and sealed.
The size of this mask is 28 x 23.5 cm or 11 x 9 3/8 inches.
One of our questions we always get at the booth is: what can you do with a mask? Well, to those that are collectors of historical (tribal masks, warrior masks, theatric masks) and artists made masks (from Venice, Cirque Du Soleil, local artists etc) we know that the first thing that comes to mind is to display them as 3d pieces of art! Other uses include performers (actors & actresses, street performers, dancers, stilt walkers etc), photo-shoots, costumes (comic cons, cos play, Halloween, masquerades etc) and festivals (burning man, Shambhala, Mardi Gras etc).

Stormy Sky Wildlife Painting
This is a high-quality art print of my original watercolour painting, Sentinel.
Inspired by a breathtaking real-life encounter, this piece captures the raw beauty and power of the Red-Tailed Hawk.
Just outside my city, I witnessed a remarkable sight—many of these majestic birds gathered in a field, some soaring through the sky, others perched and watching. It was a rare and unforgettable moment.
The background features an approaching storm, symbolizing the dual nature of the wild—both breathtaking and unforgiving. The hawk, with its sharp gaze and powerful stance, stands as a reminder of beauty and resilience in nature.
Most prints come with up to a 0.5" border for easy framing:

Shaping is done with a manual hydraulic press (2000 lbs plus per a component) to create stronger, more durable and professionally shaped components. Each piece is finished with a meticulous hand applied coloring process wherein each color is individually applied and often on different days to allow for the lengthy drying process (up to 72 hours). The majority of the other steps revolve around an absurd amount of sanding and cleaning, as well as, adding the finishing touches such as ear hooks, jump rings, soldering etc. Because of this no two items are identical and they have variations between each item.

This dragon is our own design based on our studies of heraldic dragons. Since we are both personally interested in the lore and mythology of dragons...and because dragons may just be the number one requested image at our booth we wanted to make a special dragon together. The other inspiration behind this dragon was drawn from our multiple trips to Europe. Our intention with this design was to create a classy dragon that could be worn by anyone who admires dragons. These earrings are made of pure copper. The red and black inlays on the copper are by far the most intense colour combination we make. In the natural light the red intensifies like fire engulfing the dragon! You can wear these with a semi-casual attire or with a casual attire.
They are about 2.4 x 2 cm or 1 x 0.75 inches.
